Today we are going to take a closer look at the mechanical properties of Vinyl Ester FRP threaded rod and Isoplast LGF40-TPU.

FRP Vinyl Ester Threaded Studs are high-strength pultruded glass-reinforced material coupled with a UV-stabilized Derakane® Vinyl Ester resin. After the rods are pultruded to maximum strength, the material is ground to standard Unified National Coarse (UNC) threads. Vinyl Ester studs and LGF40-TPU nuts are ideal for applications requiring mechanical fasteners that must be non-corrosive, low in conductivity, and/or transparent to electromagnetic waves.
